As if I needed another reason to love the city in which I was raised. Check out this incredible line of women's luxury basics created by 2 cool chicks from NYC.... sigh. See their full line called APiece Apart Here. Simply Perfection.
Well you can count on MJ to give some good show. The inspirations in this kooky collection I can't even begin to pick apart, well no I can begin, Asian, caberet, harlequin dancer?! Yet all in all I find it appealing. These are my favorite looks.
It would take me a stomach flu, some butter and a lotta hope and courage to get into one of these numbers, but it would be well worth all of it. These are HOT!
Properly mixed patters and colors are divine. I really like the addition of mesh under the floral patters @ Rebecca Taylor. This is a trend to take! Adds a bit of an edge to the sweet.
I am enjoying the neck piece in this first look and the meshy lace of the top in the second. I adore the hair for the show, a little bit 40's a little maybe 80's? A lotta bit cute.

To be honest I thought the styling/hair and make up was a bit off and cooky for DVF. I am a huge fan, who isn't the woman is incredible and does what she does impeccably. Although something got lost for me here. "antiquity made modern" was the inspiration. I thought it was more antiquity made a bit weird. The thing that really throws me are the plastic bright colored bangles. I just couldn't jive some how. Don't get me wrong, of course there are some really noted aspects of inspiration and really pretty pieces here. Listen to me all the sudden challenging Diane.... In my opinion I should add... In my opinion!

I would completely and happily rock the first look.
