Heavy Metal

On a friends suggestion I went to check out Creatures of Comfort on Melrose. Mostly for their ample selection of Etoile by Isabel Murant of whom my friend and I both adore. They also carry other cool brands like Acne, APC & fun accessories by Karen Walker. Great brands, pretty layout, things I would definitely buy. In particular there was something there was something that got me in a bit of a tizzy. The metal macrame jewelry of Arielle De Pinto is just gorgeous!

Thrifting in AZ: Gloria's Closet

We headed out for some more thrifting in AZ today. I picked up some goodies, including a couple of light weight oversized blazers, simple silk tanks and a snakeskin sea green cuff! But I must say the most fun of all was coming back and raiding my best friends mothers jewelry boxes and closet.

Arizona Thrifting:Preparation

I know it's a holiday and in the fine state of Ariona where the "West was won" most stores would be shut, but I have just a few days to take in all the frugal vintage opportunities and I had to run out and check just a few. In the sleepy (and I mean Sleeeeepy) town of Kingman there was some thrift to be found. This is just a taste. More tomorrow!!

Stars and Stripes

Fashion up your 4th?? Would definitely make doing beer bongs and eating hot dogs a bit more attractive... Or maybe not... In any case, have a Happy Holiday!

LA Shops: Lost and Found

My BFF Tricia took me to her favorite shop in LA. Lost and Found is a little haven of shopping located in an area quite different from the shopping "scene" of Melrose or Beverly. Tucked in on street called Yucca in Hollywood, owner Jamie Rosenthal has practically the whole block in which she has split up into 4 separate stores. One for Women's (to die) One for Home and Kitchen (So pretty) Children's (makes me want to get knocked up) and Men's (my future man will be clad in). The shop is a sort of bohemian chic and is set up in a way that it makes you want to hang out all day. It is so cozy and Jamie as well as everyone that works there is really friendly, helpful and personable, which sorry to say but in LA, and with Jamie's hefty and "well known" clientele is pretty rare. I am glad I got a chance to stop by this trip and will definitely be back for visits.

Do these come in my size? Makes you want to have a little girl doesn't it?!
