A Real Son of a Zeus

I love this shop. I have loved this shop since it was in Prospect Heights off the 2 train on the Bergen street stop. I think Kerrilynn has a wonderful eye and impeccable taste. Now her shop is nestled in on 10th street in the West Village on the sweetest and quaintest of blocks, which makes visiting even more of a pleasure. Fitting into the theme of the neighborhood, the price points for some may be a bit high, although I personally always find a way to splurge and when I do so here I am never disappointed. Currently they are carrying some beautiful Risto Bimbiloski pieces. Love.

Burberry Burberry make me a drink

         Back home from spending 2 months in London, I am arriving just in time for some good old NYC fun. We braved the misty and humid evening to attend the celebration of the lighting of the new Burberry "monument" in midtown. The party proved to be well worth the water stained shoes and slightly frizzy hair. My one complaint would be the lack of a proper bar and the therefore frequent need for me to accost the the champagne carrying wait staff (hey a lady needs her cocktail!) but honestly, who could really complain about a night a top the Palace Hotel and the start of summer in NY?
