Inspiration: Jamie Nelson

This is Jamie Nelson
She's my friend... Well... She's my friend on facebook, we've never actually met, but I stalk her photo's sometimes and dream of a life where I am half as talented as she. Working in fashion can sometimes be a little daunting. There are times when I sigh to myself and think "is this REALLY art?" I know it's horribly judgmental of me to say and I don't exclude myself from the statement. Then here's this woman creating this incredible work that makes people swoon. This is it. This is the point. Try not to drool on your keyboard, she's amazing.

all images found on either her facebook page or her beautiful website.

If you know her or have the pleasure of meeting her "tell her taryn sent you"/says hi, and that stalking IS a form of flattery!

Double Vision

"TWO can be as bad as ONE it's the loneliest number since the number ONE..." I love these beautiful shots in twos.

Inspiration: "Pieces"

Here are some tears for an idea I was thinking to do for a little impromptu photo shoot. Gritty film close ups of just pieces of a women's body. Mostly hands and feet and legs. Black and whites or could also include one a really saturated deep color, like a blood black red or blue. Would be a nice way to close up in on a fabric or one accessory. Creating a mysterious, sexy and almost voyeuristic feeling.

Inspiration: Photographer Paine Wingate

So my friend thinks I need a little "companionship" of sorts because I keep posting these suggestive photos... ha ha. I simply think they are beautiful! Really. The mood of these pictures just touch me some where deep. Fashion week is upon us! I will post you tales of NY. xx
