Royal Talents

Last week students from the Royal Academy of Antwerp showed their collections. The Alma Mater of the likes of Mr. Martin Margiela as well as Dries Van Noten. This year there is yet another talented bunch. Here are a few of my favorites!


Emilie Pirlot's "Mysterious Wonderland". Obviously inspired by Alice and her cast of characters. The concept is really quite beautiful.



Stephanie D'Hegere her collection titled "Humanimalus". Gritty, animalistic with hints of McQueen shoved in Gaultier's face. Love her sketches.


Juan Hernandez Daels a bit too futuristic "blade Runner- esque" for my taste but interesting and really talented none the less. He also has a slick site. Check out his "drawings" page.   Juan Hernandez Daels
